In a pickle with suspension, need some guidance.
****UPDATE****
I found a much better shop locally and they are down the road instead of across town!
Anyhow they were very helpful and patient with me. I took the took on a long test drive, of course it wasn’t making the noise right away and then we found just the right road and it started singing.
Got back to the shop and started looking over things. He had mentioned that if the a arms were installed on a lift in the air and torqued when the trucks are on the ground it puts the bushings in a bind. He loosened the long bolt for the a arms and he heard it pop like the bushings relaxed.
We were actually able to shake the truck side to side and duplicate the noise. The tech climbed underneath and just started feeling everything.
Turns out it’s the driver side a arm bushing making the noise. It is resonating through the a arms and into the rest of the suspension system.
I’ll be contacting SPC Monday to see what my options are. I’m thinking that it was improperly installed and either it just needs new bushings, or they didn’t grease it right, and the bolt just needs pulled out and everything greased and put back together
