I have a question that I never have seen fully answered about a setup like the OP is going for. If you do this kind of mild lift with quality aftermarket components, will you ever get a "better" ride/drive than stock or will it always be worse?

I'm talking on road driving. Obviously off-road will be better. I like the handling of the stock suspension with KDSS but would like to soak up some of the bumps a little better. Can an aftermarket suspension setup keep, or improve, the driving dynamics as well as soften the ride over rough roads?

This would assume similar size/weight tires to stock.
