Perhaps a stupid question, but how would aftermarket springs affect ride quality? Do you see improved quality more so with replacement of the shocks or the springs?
With my old 4th gen 4Runner, I replaced factory suspension with 5100s and FJ springs 2 years before I sold it. The stock suspension was "worn" by that time so the new setup did feel firmer, but I don't recall it being overly rough. So I guess my question is do aftermarket springs do anything under normal driving other than raise the vehicle?
Hopefully this might help answer vondy21's question as well. Thanks.
