It might bolt up, but electronically it's different to my knowledge. A decent headache to figure out. That's why when I did my swap I opted for a manual trans at the same time. Simplified it all. I thought I had read to keep a 3.4 auto swapped in you'd need to use the 3.4's auto trans as well. Which means you might as well just buy a 3rd gen at that point. Probably a good amount of fab work for crossmember, linkage and driveshafts. Whereas the manual from a 2nd gen is a direct replacement and bolts right up. Just need specific clutch components and the hydraulics/pedal brackets to convert.
