Yes, I still use it. It works great with no problems. I have the latest ios with the latest iPhone. I can't vouch for android because I've never tried it. The alerts work great and are customizable. I get alerted of low fuel or if the engine throws a code as well as other parameters if you want. You dont see a notification but you hear chime noise when you start the car up and then you have to open the app to see what it is alerting you for. I currently make use of a SG2 and like that it is a dedicated solution, always there to see at a glance.
No alerts or notifications though...
Thinking of using the OBD2 port in the engine bay for this application (UG Blue). Not sure how bluetooth would work from there though, so might need to run an extension through the firewall...
