It could be the issue, most good auto parts stores sells assorted springs, take the broken one in with you and see if they can match it to some of the ones they sell.
If you have no luck at a auto parts store try looking at your local savage yards and get the spring from a wrecked 4runner or similar Toyota vehicle.
