As others have said, give Toyota room and time to do the right thing. Everyone makes a mistake now and then. Look over all the documentation you receive and make sure you understand what they’re offering. If you end up getting like-for-like on a new 2019 or 2020, I’d consider that compensation for your troubles. If at the end you think they could’ve done more, a kind and professional letter will go further than a nasty, demanding one.
