I get it. Everyone has 5th Gen 4Runner so it's not unique.
I agree with most of the other comments that if you need a truck (or just really want one) and need to tow with more comfort there's no getting around it with the 4Runner.

It comes down to $$.
If you can afford to make the switch and it doesn't pose a hardship on the family then do it. You only live once and you will never be younger than you are today.
It's just a car and it doesn't define who you are.
