How many miles do you have on your KO2s? Mine started to suffer after about 10k. The rubber compound just seemed to get really hard.
I would get over 50,000 miles on several sets of load range E tires on my 2500HD diesel. Before that I used load range C on that 2500HD and 1500s that I've owned over the years with the same results. I never had wet weather issues with any of them.
