If you're ever on it, it makes complete sense. This trail is super narrow with really no where to meet anyone to pass without major risk of going off. Then when you get to the switch backs, it really gets clear that you're not pulling over. There's a few spots that if you open the passenger door and step out you'd be considered a base jumper.
