Ok well that’s good, I thought you had meant you bought it and hadn’t checked the frame.

Yeah idk why those particular parts decided to take a beating. Go to the beach? Or go through a car wash during winter (maybe one that isn’t recycling the water like it should so it’s dishing out saltwater)?

Anyway. Definitely hit those bolts with some penetrant both top and bottom like a week before removal time, and top off the penetrant each day until you do go to install your new latch. The bottom of the threads are exposed to the road if I recall.
