If you’re ordering a vehicle directly and they refuse to remove over $2000 in upcharges that are optional, I would definitely speak with the sales manager. If he refuses to budge, I would walk.
You’re buying an ORP, not an army green pro. You can take that sale to any other dealer. Explain what your last dealer pulled and that’s why you walked. The new lot you go to will be happy to make the sale their competitor lost. Guaranteed.
They do stuff like this expecting buyers to just accept it. That’s $2000 of crap you don’t want, so don’t accept it.
