And then proceeded to get it onto the lift, where it would remain all evening and the entire next day for a timing belt job. Previous timing belt was done at 91k, so it was 30k overdue at 211k! Definitely first order of business.

I'll eventually reorder my pictures to where they are captioned inline, but for now, this will have to do.

For any and all of you guys that have done this job, you know how much of a daunting and lengthy task it is!
I started by watching some good videos:
YouTube part 1
YouTube part 2

And then dug into it, slowly but surely. Hardest parts are definitely the fan bracket and the crankshaft bolt.
I ordered the Aisin TKT-021 Kit from ebay, then bought an OEM thermostat (which I later found out had never been replaced, so I'm glad I did), t-stat gasket, serp belt, and FIPG separately, along with 2gal of fresh Z-red coolant. I didn't feel the need to do the crank seal, and wasn't going to mess with the cam seals due to the VVT-I. Overall, about $250 in parts for a job that would be close to a grand in labor if I were to take it to a shop. Can't complain!
