There is a significant price difference between a 2.0 and 2.5 Fox shock… by at least double at the minimum and with a high delta of about 1k per pair on just the rears. The basic 2.0 rears are about $300 per pair, and the top of the line rears are closer to $1300.
The biggest problem with the 2.0 is that they don’t offer DSC adjusters. It’s the adjustability I am wanting, more so than just the larger displacement. That said, after trying a larger body shock, I got sold on them. I guess that says still holds true, there is no replacement for displacement.
