Your logic and reasoning was inaccurate. You said your vehicle could do everything the higher trim levels can do. This is false. An experienced driver can do without crawl control and multi terrain selection, but experience can not lock the rear diffs. Calling someone else a fool thats trying to justify HIS purchase while inaccurately describing your own vehicle to justify YOUR purchase is quite foolish as well.
Spending thousands extra on a 4WD, especially with all the extras like locking diffs, crawl control etc, when you'll never go off the pavement, or only hit dirt roads occasionally with a few potholes could be considered quite silly as well... But a good portion of the people calling the OP names have done just that. In that regard, My wife off roads her 2019 camry XSE more than 90% of the T4R 4wd owners on this board, as we live a mile and a half from pavement. The same people speaking bad about the OP could of spent THOUSANDS less and bought a rav4 or corolla and did the same extent of offroading.
People buy what they want. Spend their money as they see fit on what they like, not just what they need. Nothing wrong with that. Its hypocritical to judge another when you likely do the same, to one extent or another in some aspect of life.
Nothing lost but my time replying.
