I'd like to hear more about the back cooler and what the cold wrench lubricant is. Is this an engine oil cooler separate from the one on the drivers side that we are talking about in this thread?

On my 01 I don't have the engine oil cooler but I do run an external Hayden trans cooler with inline Magnafine filter. I think I'll do the same thing with the 98 simply to avoid the dreaded strawberry milkshake that trashes the transmission. Overheating the trans isn't an issue for the type of duty both these rigs see under my ownership so I don't put the trans cooler inline with the radiator.
