I'm not saying you're lying, but I have an incredibly hard time believing this. You must have a unicorn of a 4runner then. I'd put money on 99% of stock 4runners (if xreas, at stock height) rubbing while rocking 285/70/17 on the OEM rim.
No rubbing in any way, shape, or form? Even at full articulation and in reverse? Even at full compression?
Guys running 3" lifts running 285/70/17s still rub so that's why I have trouble wrapping my head around this. If you don't rub, you're the only person I've come across on the internet running 285s on a stock 5th gen that didn't rub. In which case, without a lift, if would look absolutey goofy, I agree lol
