Having owned both the 4th & 5th Gen, I say you can't go wrong either way. There are some little things I prefer on the 5th, and some on the 4th. IMO the biggest advantage the V6 4th Gen has is the multi-mode transfer case. I really wish that was available in the 5th Gen; 4H with center diff unlocked is so useful here in CO.
