I've got the cheapo SR5 so I thought about putting it where the heated seat controls would go, but that means cutting the plastic panel. Right now it is sitting in the slot shaped storage area, honestly doesn't look too bad there and is easy to reach. if I fabbed up a little piece of plastic to cover the visible side it would look pretty good.

The habit of not reaching up to the visor after 30 years might take some getting used to.
If you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay for this? I also have the cheapo SR5, but I swapped the overhead console for a factory SR5 Premium console with the integrated homelink buttons. It was about $170 delivered and only took about 5 minutes to install.
