Hey guys, i picked up an EMU 2" lift kit for my 91 Hilux Surf, and i am having some difficulties installing the new springs.

I've lowered the rear axle as far as my jackstands can go, and I have lifted the hitch as far up as i can. I made sure to disconnect the rear sway bar (I think that's what it's called) and there is a rear horizontal stabalizer bar i have also disconnected.

Even with using spring compressors i am having troubles.

A question i have, those upside down rubber triangle things that sit above the spring that has 2 little rubber balls on it. Does that entire thing come off? I have looked and i don't see any sort of nut/bolt holding it on, however with a decent amount of pressure i am unable to pry them out.
