I know this is a bit late but my dad has a 2008 GX 470 and he had it since it was brand new! It has 200k now. I do have to say that he always uses the dealer for service and it is very expensive. Every 5k miles oil change so it is very well maintained. Oil changes are around $110. We did have to replace the ac coils and some other ac components which cost $3,000! This was at around 150k miles. Remember Lexus OEM parts like the airbag suspension are pricey since the car is relatively rare and not many aftermarket alternatives. I have a lot more details but long story short... this car is quite expensive to repair if you are not doing some of the work yourself. We have all the service records too if you still are curious about repair costs. Also it rides very well... similar to a Mercedes SUV. Again, fantastic ride quality and the cabin is quiet.
