I did run the black fluid for quite some time as well with that new filter so that could have had an effect on it. More than anything though I just listen to the trans. If it starts making noises like It did or it fluctuates rpm on the freeway, anything like that i take care of it immediately and so far clean fluid and fresh filters have always fixed the issue. I'll be happy to just get another winter out of it. Hey last winter i thought it was toast lol guess I'm lucky just to still have it going currently
