I know there the t9 android units out there and they look pretty nice and oem... but also have enough bugs that I want to see what else some other company will come up with. These guys are right here in the States and are pretty quick to respond to messages and questions . |
That GX setup looks dope, although I kind of like the big chunky AC controls we get, so I'm not sure I'd want them integrated into a display.
The thing I don't like about the T9, once the bugs are worked out, is the loss of features from OEM. It's not like the OEM is setting a high bar, so when I can't run waze through car play and listen to local radio, then what's the upside??? Plus no XM without external hacks... no I don't want to use my phone if I'm in the middle of nowhere I will probably have satellite, but no cell.
It would also be nice if they added a few fun off-road features (water fording depth measurements, ground clearance/forward facing cameras, etc.).
We can dream!
