The thing's a dog, and the 'makes a lot of noise but doesn't go any faster' nature of it's engine at high RPM gives away how old this V6 is. Modern engines have flatter curves. My Tahoe, though much heavier, I have no doubt can get out on the 4Runner at any speed.

Curious how much a 2019 Tahoe costs, and how well it does off road compared to the 4Runner. The vehicles have different strengths and weaknesses because they were designed to appeal to different buyers.
