Yup, original springs, not much settling to be expected there for sure. One area where it might settle a tiny bit is that there was a permanent indentation in the rubber spring isolator under the mount from the spring end. I rotated the isolator so that a undented portion was now under the spring end, but the indentation was no more than about 1/8". So not much to be gained there.
Good news is that if/when I decide to use a smaller spacer, I won't have to undo the spring from the shock, just drop the whole assembly and slide in a new spacer. I can almost do that with my eyes closed now.
