I agree they are bright and can be dangerous as driving lights, but I particularly like my
GTRs which mimic the filament placement of a traditional bulb using the optics of the stock housing as intended and they are far brighter than the POS bulbs that came new with my truck so I'm not sure I entirely agree with your statement. My lights have a crisp clear line which is low enough to stay out of peoples rear view mirrors. Now yeah, the cheapo "Lets place an LED everywhere" type bulbs, I entirely agree.
