Nope. Definitely not. On our 4th gens, the diff drop is pretty much unnecessary unless you want to run like 4, 5, 6+ inches of lift, above the norm!
I have Fox shocks and struts on mine and they treat me well for daily driving and getting off the beaten path, but the Bilsteins are most popular.
