An easy test for the neutral safety switch is to try to start it in neutral instead of Park (also try wiggling the shifter around). Sometimes the contacts can get dirty or the shifter can get out of alignment with the transmission mounted switch. Removing and cleaning is possible if the safety switch is the problem.

What if your battery slowly dies while driving after the battery light comes on. Took to autozone but they said battery, spark plugs, and alternator are good
