I had a similar choice when I went shopping this fall for another 4Runner. As this was my 3rd I’m pretty knowledgeable with the platform and having spent a great deal of time on these forums I was pretty familiar with the differences between the Pro and OR.
I agree with many of the previous poster that if you want to keep it stock and/or have to have one of the limited colors: Pro.
I ended up with a OPR for about $12k less than a Pro. I cant stand leaving vehicles stock and with the money saved going with the ORP, I was able to purchase a top-of-the-line lift, full lighting (HID/LED/BD Fogs), hybrid bumper, power running boards, wheels/tires, and other misc parts. All in I’ll have a far superior total package (IMO) than a Pro, it will be more unique and outfitted for me for less.
If your plan is to upgrade parts, go with the ORP and have fun making it your own.
As for KDSS, I’ve personally never liked it and didn’t want the added headache of potential failure nor compatibility with aftermarket suspension components.
