There must be a thousand posts in this forum with experiences like yours. I have had similar problems with dealer service.
I recently talked with a Toyota service manager at a holiday party. He said their techs are all trained and certified, in classes and on the job. They know the proper procedures. But they are on commission. So each procedure has a certain time assigned to it. An oil service/tire rotation might be allocated 0.75 hrs. If the tech finishes it sooner he still gets credit for 0.75 hours of work. The incentive is to work as fast as possible so the tech performs as many jobs as possible during his shift. That means more money for him and more for the shop. And as we see, faster work equals more mistakes. By necessity this is the business model for dealer service.
The only solution is to do it yourself and keep good records/receipts for any warranty proof. There are plenty of threads here on doing routine maintenance. It’s not very difficult if you are at all handy. Or you could find a good independent mechanic.
