I spend the majority of my miles on the pavement, but there have been reasons for temporarily having more aggressive tires installed. I'm not a fan of having knobby tires installed all the time (gas mileage, noise, etc), so I was entertaining having a spare set for the weekends when I want to get a little dirty.
Thoughts?
