I ran both the Coopers and Falken A/T3Ws on my Tundra. Very similar in terms of on road handling, noise, and comfort. Slight difference in economy but that was less than a 1/2 mpg for the same size tire. Of course the Tundra had much larger tires.

The biggest difference was offroad and in snow/ice. The Falkens were noticeably better in both areas and especially on winter roads. So much better traction! If you live in a winter area with snow and ice on the roads for 5-6 months of the year as I do then the Falkens are the clear winner. That goes for any mud terrain or AT tire I can think of and I have had everything from Toyos to BFGs, Nittos, Coopers, and Falkens. If you daily drive in the snow and want to have a summer set and a winter set then a studdless snow tire like Blizzaks is the only way to beat the Falken A/T3Ws IMO.

Of course I had all those on my Tundra which has all the power in the world. Has anyone tired the Falkens long term on a 4runner? Picking my first T4R up tomorrow and I needs to know.
