Read the alignment instructions I provided and you'll see that you are both wrong - although you are a little closer to right.
Where do you find your perfectly level 40+ foot area with a perfectly vertical wall?

I went with Toyota's 10' rule b/c I don't have 25' level anywhere. I have seen/read the link to the good directions you provided-just don't have the real estate. I leveled my 2011 Trail an inch or so in the front with adjustable Bilsteins and had everyone flashing me with my low beams on. The dealer should have adjusted the headlights when they installed the shocks. I got it fixed but was never happy with the headlights after that-low beams were ineffective. 2020 ORP seems to be no better. Point is none of us wants to blind oncoming drivers yet it would be nice to be able see Bambi as well. We all are seeing a variety of aftermarket headlights on vehicles both good and bad. From an oncoming point of view the German headlights seem to be effective and nonobtrusive though I have not driven one. I know Toyota can rise to the challenge. If they just hadn't purchased a 10 year supply to save $.
It is enough of a safety issue it should be addressed by Toyota.
