I had the same thing happen after I got water in the alarm's "control" box under the driver seat. The locks would cycle and the car was immobile and the horn was ON. I took the box out, let it dry and plugged it back in. (I later cleaned it more thoroughly when I was able to get home).

My piezo has "never" worked. I say never because randomly last week it chirped a few times while lock/unlocking the truck, then stopped again.

Thanks for the Piezo info! Might just order a new one for giggles to see if it works again. It's nice knowing when it's locked since the alarm is armed and disarmed (locked/unlocked) by the same single button.

Did you order a new piezo? I just got my replacement in. Hope to have time to do it before the end of the week. Hopefully it fixes my problem.
The other morning when I unlocked it and opened a back passenger door it locked itself then alarm went off. The door light went off right before this happened. Checked door switch multiple times since then and it always seems to work. Sometimes when I have that door open I notice the light dims/flickers little bit. Will buy new door switch if new piezo doesn’t solve problem
