Do you even realize what you just said? The definition of a "33" is a tire with a diameter equal to 33 inches, PERIOD. Within the designation of a 33 inch tire are 33x10.5, 33x11.5, 33x10.2, 33x13 and ANY tire with a diameter between 33.0 and 33.9 inches, regardless of ANY width. If tire width determined what name you call a tire, wouldn't you call your 33s "12.5s"

Aspect ratio plays absolutely NO part in the designation of when we call a tire by its height. Read that again.

What a stupid concept. So absolutely stupid in fact I ask for ANY type reputable source that believes tire WIDTH determines the name given to a tire because of its height.

I know anonymity allows people to be less reserved when voicing incorrect absolutely retarded opinions but come on dude. Realize what you are saying, and begin the face-saving campaign now while you're still not well known on this forum.

To clarify in your opinion, a 34 inch tall tire isn't worthy of being called even a 33, because it's not wide enough?! Lmfao. I dont usually call people out but when someone acts like everyones an idiot except them, WHILE SAYING with a straight face "a 33 inch tall tire isn't a "33" unless it's at least ____ wide, I really cant help myself.

LMFAO, thanks for the laugh. Perhaps consider contacting moderators to change your screen name to muffdog, because that's how you look talking to everyone in this thread.

On an unrelated note, who ties your shoes in the morning?
Hi.

You are an overlander... you and the other losers in this thread with weenie tires who have never actually been on an obstacle in their life are the only people who actually think that if you go to a catalog or a store to buy a 33, that it comes in any other size other than exactly 33." My point was (and still is) that metric equivalents which do not match the SAE size exactly are not the same. No amount of instagramming your maxtrax will change that.

Let me guess, you have never bought one. So tell me, mr overlander - what is the equivalent size of a 40 inch tire in metric and where can you buy one?
