I guess any size tire that is round is exactly the same as any other size tire to overlanders. Which is probably perfect considering you never go off road. Since I have 33" tires, does that mean I get to say I have 35" tires just because its "close"? For your reference, here is what a 39" tire (the size you listed) looks like next to a 40 inch tire.

Get over yourself. Link works for me and worked for other people. Just tried it again.
Tire mounted size is listed as 39.8". You aren't going to find an SAE tire that is exactly 40" or 33 or 35. Get over the semantics. And your use of the word overlander makes me thing you really don't know shit of what wheeling is about. I've done "overlanding", I've done "rack crawling", I've done "mudbogging". It's all the same shit in the end.
