Honestly I don't hate it. If I was in the market for an SR5 I'd get one of these in Cement or Army Green. That being said the 6th gen 4Runner needs to come out soon and it better be a bad MF. If they aren't going to produce something that gives the same feels as a Wrangler JL then they should just can the 4R or let it go the Pathfinder route. I feel like it has an identity crisis and wants to be a soccer mom hauler and also off-roader. Just give the people what they want, V8 or TTV6, proper transmission and gear ratios, solid rear axle, locking diffs, less low hanging plastic and high clearance fenders and wheel wells so I can fit 33"-35" tires without having to chop up the damn thing. I feel like Toyota is just teasing us and making everyone more anxious the longer they drag out the 5th gens.
