Forgot to add - I'll be running 255/80/r17. After a lot of research, it feels like wider tires' only benefit beyond looking freaking awesome, is that they float better on deeper mud/sand and help prevent getting your axle stuck. Other than that, pizza cutters (when aired down and have a high enough sidewall profile) seem to be better at most everything.
