The lightbar was not wired so that the customer could do their own wiring solution. Most people either run them down the A-pillar or back to the hatch grommet. Or you could go as radical as putting in a marine grommet and dropping the wires directly into the headliner.

The fairing covers the outer lip of the light bar and when adjusted properly does not affect light output whatsoever, but does however aid in removing any sort of hood glare that could be made present from the light.

We are sitting right at 4-5 weeks right now so we could not in guarantee delivery by the departure of your trip. We recommend the powder coat, it holds up quite well. The only wear point you'll get from taking a tent on and off if you remove the crossbars the tent is mounted to is where the crossbars contact the rack on the inside. Outside of that, you won't have any wear issues.
