Single recovery point at the tow hitch vs two hooks for a bridle strap

I get the bridle strap spreads the load. Seems to me the factory hitch would be plenty strong to take the weight of the vehicle? Perhaps not if you're super bogged and a tractor pulls you out...
Using the front two makes sense to spread out the load especially if in deep mud but as one who has been stuck in almost every possible way (including tractors) I would say that if the tow hitch isn't going to work then best to get a crane to lift you out.
