The front ones have been debated here for many years so I'm not going to revisit the issue now other than to say more than a few of us have used them for all sorts of recovering without drama. IF they were only there for transport then there would have been much MUCH cheaper options for them to use.

But the issue in this thread is these rear hooks compared to the hitch.
