He may be doing what I am doing. Not wanting to make permanent mod, I’m using a Jackery solar generator (battery) charged by the 12 volt outlet in the back. I then have the Dometic fridge plugged into the Jackery (12 volt outlet).
I could also charge the Jackery using the 110 volt inverter in the back, but would have to remember to push the dash button every time I restarted the engine, hence my using the 12 volt side. Not sure why he would need to buy a separate inverter.
