A couple weeks ago I did the 2nd oil change on my 2019 Highlander with the 3.5L V6 First was done at 2000 miles, 2nd at 5000 miles, and I will change the oil every 5000 miles going forward. I follow this schedule with my 2016 4Runner as well. Anyway, I used the Quaker State Ultimate Durability 0W20 since it was so cheap and easy to get and I used an OEM filter as I always do. I have to say, I'm impressed. The 3.5 runs smoother and quieter with the QS over even the Toyota oil. I will be using the QSUD in my 2016 4Runner when it's due for it's next service and I will of course post results on that as well. So far I am sold on this oil over M1 which was horrible, Valvoline which was just as bad, and Toyota oil which I was happy with but it's twice the price and I have to go to the dealer or order online to get it.
