Sound like what you are looking for is progressive rate springs. So the more weight they add, the stiffer they get so as not to sag but not so stiff when unloaded that you regret putting them in.

thanks...in the sticky i mentioned they list all the OLD MSN EMU springs and those that are listed to take an additional 100 pounds lift over 2 inches. Thanks also...prgoressive springs is what I was thinking, just brain farted on them and could not think of them, have used progressives on other vehicles.
also with all the gravel roads I drive, and 10 ply tires ( to resist punctures on all the gravel and worse roads) I dont want to get a lot stiffer either and bust all my fillings loose in my teeth
or pound my back to death....its bad enough as it is
