Is there any work besides trimming the bumper/fender liner and a BMC that's necessary to run 285/75/17 tires?

I've seen references to hammering a pinch weld, but without pictures I have no idea what that entails.

I don't have any issues with cutting up my bumper more than it is. And I've resigned myself to the fact that a BMC will need to happen. I just want to know what I'm in for in addition to that... no surprises on my first trail ride after installing. I had a passing conversation with someone at Slee Offroad when I was buying an air compressor, and he seemed to think that 285/75/17 would entail a lot of additional effort.

Re-gearing. First thing I would do, after installed 34” tires, before any wheeling. Just to keep my drive line and transmission happy.
