If you want darker windows for privacy, the 3M Color Stable film is great too. The heat rejection isn't as good as the Crystalline, but it still contributes to reducing heat but you have to do much darker.
I actually have a mix of the two on mine, including Crystalline 90 on the windshield and its probably my favorite "tint" I ever got. Night and day difference.
If you want see for yourself, ask for a small scrap piece of clear Crystalline at the tint shop. Go outside, close your eyes, look at the sun, and move it on/off your face. The difference is huge. That was the selling point for me.

I had a crystalline layer installed on the sunroof when we still were subjected to the SC summers. HUGE difference in limiting UV rays from up top especially if you're someone that uses it often. No more sun roasting your scalp between 1000-1400.
Eventually I'd like to get layering on all the windows but I might not need to in the new temperate zone.
