“No spring compressor method” in the rear

Hello! I’m looking at doing the “no spring compressor method” to adjust my Bilstein 5100 height. I’ve found a ton of info on using this method for front suspension, but no mention of how to do it in the rear (hehe, do it in the rear). Can this method be used for rear suspension? I have a 2003 limited (air suspension and xreas have already been deleted). Thanks!
