I don't have a RTT but I mounted by ARB 2000 using
these brackets from 4WheelParts. The three-hole side mounts to the rack while the 2-hole side mounts to the awning. Let me know if you need pics or dimensions.
They're cheap - I used 3, but 2 should be fine (one near each end). Very study - I regularly use the awning as a hand hold when accessing the roof rack from sliders.
