If you want 2” lift with a spacer, then you’d need a 2” spacer.

OEM lower ball joints will run you another $200.

I think what you are proposing can be done.
As far as ball joints I have a set of OEM lower balljoints on the list. Want to buy today.

Is there anywhere one can get them cheaper?

Was wondering if anyone could tell me if these are the best route to go with. Everywhere I read OEM seems to be the only mentioned route. I have done MOOG in the past with other automobiles but with the way that Toyota engineered these suckers it seems that they must have been high and fudged that area up making it one of the weakest points on the "indestructable" 4runner.
