The 4Runners have a different driveshaft flange between 2wd/4wd but the 4wd driveshaft still bolts up. The thicker 2wd harmonic flange is thick enough the 4wd bolts thread into the flange itself instead of using nuts on the backside.
I know re 4runners, that's I'm asking if RWD and AWD Tacomas have different 3rds as well.
